Book Launch: Seeing in the Dark

You are invited to the launch of a new book

Seeing in the Dark  (flyer  here)

by Christopher Chapman
978 1 84825 259 2 £16.99

Seeing in the Dark is a profound and practical look at how Christian spiritual tradition has understood the role of suffering in human growth and our experience of God.
Suffering can impel us to live for what is really important – but it can also diminish us and stunt our growth. What makes the difference?

This book helps all engaged in pastoral care or spiritual direction
explore that question for themselves and with others.

The launch of the book will take place on:

Tuesday 9th April 2013 6.30pm
Newcomen Room Southwark Diocesan Office
Trinity House, 4 Chapel Court off Borough High St, London, SE1 1HW
Refreshments will be provided.
Please RSVP to chris.chapman@southwark.anglican.org
