Holy Land Journal 'One is never far from the realities of history and the pain of people's thwarted lives as one seeks to be open to this Land made Holy by God.' ~ John-Francis Friendship This September, the Centre organised a trip to the Holy Land for a group of pilgrims led by our very own John Francis-Friendship and Julie Dunstan.   From Narzerth to the Old City to Dead Sea, the pilgrims had a very full experience which you can read all about on John-Francis's blog post JOURNAL of a PILGRIM to the LAND CALLED HOLY October Events *NEW WORKSHOP* Praying with the Whole of our Being  Friday, October 30th, 11 - 4pm  Cost £45 with Jenny Williams This is an opportunity to connect with the original words that Jesus spoke and allow the sound of them to touch us body, mind, emotion and spirit. We will learn the first few lines of the Lord’s Prayer in Aramaic, slowly, one line at a time, and learn to chant them - gradually adding simple body movements that can be done seated or standing. There will be time for personal reflection, some silence and sharing.  Read more and book Developing Direction: Your Gift is Your Presence Friday October 2, 11 - 3:45pm Cost £45 Kicking of the new Developing Direction Series is Julian Maddock. Prayer and spiritual direction are not self-improvement programmes. They are practices of ever deepening presence – which is to say, life in God. To be present is the greatest gift we can offer to God and to those who come for spiritual direction. In this day we will explore and practice presence. Read more and book.
